Actually Turkish weddings have their traditional part in their special "bridal shower", what is called "Hennah Night", getting this name from the material literally called Hennah.

We can easily say that, all the details are on this night Red. General belief is the color red protects the new couple from bad things. Gli ospiti mettono una specie di sciarpa sulla testa della sposa, e danzano intorno a lei con le candele in mano, cantando canzoni emotive tutti insieme; perché questo giorno è considerato come l'ultimo giorno della sposa nella casa del padre. Un altro dettaglio interessante: mentre gli ospiti ballano attorno alla sposa, lei deve piangere!
Hennah is put by the mother of groom on bride's hands, and traditionally mother should put a gold on the hennah! It sounds really lucky for the bride! After that, bride wears a kind of gloves to let hennah get dried.
